Former Eastern European country Hungary offers a great mix of hungarian hospitality, fascinating nature, medieval castles and a sprawling cultural capital, that rivals the great capitals of Western Europe.
Although Hungary has been under decades of communist rule, the hungarians have preserved their own culture, which is seen especially, if you visit smaller towns around the countryside.
When travelling around Hungary take your time to enjoy the countryside, that varies significantly from the mountains in the north, to the central plains and the south with its almost Mediterranean climate. |
